Dermatology

Full Dermatologic Services Are Available:

A full range of dermatologic services is available by appointment.

Dr. Mash and her staff treat psoriasis, fungus of the toes and fingernails, severely dry skin (xerosis), miscellaneous skin rashes, eczema, tinia versicolor, seborrheic dermatitis, keratosis and hyperplasia, and acne, among other skin disorders.

They remove cancerous growths for biopsy, unwanted skin lesions such as warts, moles, skin tags, cherry angiomas, birthmarks, age spots, solar lentigos, and related skin anomalies.

In the treatment of acne they have several approaches, including antibiotics, Accutane, topical medications and regimens, and laser treatments. Our N-Lite Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) laser with PhotoDynamic Therapy (PDT) using the Levulon Stick (aminolevulinic acid) is approved by the FDA in the treatment of cystic acne, which offers a viable alternative to those who prefer not to take oral antibiotics.

Dermatology for the Community:

Dr. Mash and her staff frequently participate in outreach services, with connections to the Police Athletic League, and local schools, whereby there is no charge for her services when parents of patients are unable to pay for their children’s skin issues.

Their community outreach extends to participation in and donations to local outdoor community events such as marathon and bicycle races, where skin protection and sun damage prevention are important issues.
